Jon Walter is a sound explorer who was born, raised, and educated in Massachusetts. He started his musical journey at 4 years old with piano, branching out to guitar, bass, drums, euphonium, and vocals throughout the years. He began producing in 2015 as a means to further his songwriting, opening his eyes to the concept of production and sound design as an extension of composition. He received his bachelor’s degree in Electronic Production and Design at Berklee College of Music in 2022. 

Jon’s compositions have a wide stylistic range, including singer-songwriter, dreamy indie, and many shades of electronic music like hip hop, drum and bass, synthwave, and electroacoustic. Using combinations of modular synthesizers, hardware and software sound sources and effects, and conventional instruments, his music always has an emotional foundation. Using tools like Max, Csound, Cabbage, and Reaktor, he creates his own tools for music creation, as well as his own sample libraries. Jon writes, produces, sings, and plays guitar in his band Pink Palace, who have performed at local venues including Brighton Music Hall and Paradise Rock Club.
